Azure DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with over five years of expertise to join our team in Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Azure DevOps, proficiency in Windows and/or Linux environments, and hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools as well as cloud providers. You will play a key role in driving complex projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality software by establishing dependable CI/CD and testing frameworks.
• Work with product management teams on the evolution of our cloud service offerings.
• Initiate and implement best practices to boost software quality and team productivity.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Strong expertise in Windows and/or Linux operating systems, including shell scripting capabilities.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Experience working with Azure cloud platform or other cloud providers.
• Hands-on experience using Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Preferred Attributes and Additional Skills

• Familiarity with network architectures and protocols including DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, and SMTP.
• Experience with VMware virtualization solutions.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
• Programming skills beyond shell scripting.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
