Assistant Project Manager - Engineering Construction Supervision

Role Overview

We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to be part of our Construction Phase Services team based in Doha, Qatar. This position involves leading a team of Construction Supervision Engineers and Inspectors.

The individual will assist the core project management team in overseeing multiple packages within a single project scope, focusing on ensuring adherence to quality, timeline, and budget criteria. The role demands close collaboration with the Project Manager, Technical Director, and other stakeholders to coordinate design reviews, manage engineering deliverables, supervise site inspections, and nurture effective client relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and management of design review and construction supervision activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource deployment.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and engineering review teams to guarantee timely submission and approval of submittals and shop drawings.
• Assist in maintaining quality assurance processes, addressing risk, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Compile progress reports, dashboards, and documentation for meetings directed towards internal teams and clients.
• Engage with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of construction contracts.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 12 to 14 years professional experience in project management and construction supervision consultancy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction supervision methodologies, QA/QC processes, and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
