As an Assistant Store Manager in Galway, you will play a vital leadership role in delivering top-tier customer experiences through leading a motivated and high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in managing daily store operations and overall performance.
- Assume full accountability for store activities in the Store Manager's absence.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to enhance their skills, confidence, and results.
- Drive achievement of key business indicators such as sales targets, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
- Foster a dynamic, customer-centric culture reflecting Vodafone's values and standards.
- Maintain high store standards including visual merchandising, cleanliness, and compliance requirements.
- Regularly track performance metrics and provide clear guidance and feedback to the team.
- Effectively resolve customer issues, aiming for quality resolutions and minimizing escalations.
- Support efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and team deployment in line with business needs.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated success in delivering results within retail or customer-facing environments.
- Strong leadership aptitude with experience or potential to coach and motivate others.
- Proven track record of meeting sales and operational performance goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of inspiring and influencing.
- A customer-first attitude with a passion for outstanding service delivery.
- Effective organizational skills to handle priorities and support store operations seamlessly.
- Comfortable using digital platforms and retail technology systems.
Desirable qualifications and experience include supervisory retail roles, experience in performance management or coaching, knowledge of store compliance, stock and cash handling, familiarity with customer experience metrics, and relevant business or management qualifications.
