Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the overall operation of a single restaurant location. Your duties include hiring staff, guiding and supervising team members to meet financial targets, and ensuring customers receive outstanding service. You will be pivotal in driving the store's success. To prepare you for this role, you will participate in a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting three or more weeks.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory
• Willingness and flexibility to relocate within 50 miles of your current residence
• Availability to work flexible hours, including shifts that open or close the store, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the business needs
• Serve Safe food safety certification is required

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The job involves working in areas subject to heat and steam from food preparation, with restricted workspace requiring employees to stand for extended periods. Tasks include handling hot and cold food items, using kitchen tools such as Chinese chef knives, and maintaining speed and accuracy. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for up to four hours at a time, and reaching across counters at standard heights. Working conditions have elevated noise levels and limited storage space. The role demands strong verbal communication, adaptability to fast-paced and changing priorities, and effective conflict management.

Salary

Compensation ranges from $25 to $28 per hour. Individual pay is influenced by factors such as location and prior experience. The company reserves the right to alter bonus programs at any time without prior notice and does not guarantee bonus earnings.
