Role Overview

We seek an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to oversee operations at the bustling Pacific Pines Tavern on the Gold Coast. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in coordinating large teams to deliver excellent customer experiences in a family-friendly venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with regular patrons, becoming a familiar and trusted face within the community.
• Assist the Publican in ensuring smooth, safe, and lively daily operations of the tavern.
• Develop leadership skills and operational knowledge to prepare for a Publican role.
• Proactively manage challenges and resolve issues before they escalate.
• Maintain high energy and enthusiastic service during every shift.

Physical Requirements

This role involves hands-on duties including manual handling and lifting stock, kegs, and deliveries. Candidates must be capable of safely and efficiently performing these tasks.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience within bar, bistro, or gaming room settings, including some supervisory exposure.
• A desire to advance into a management role, having learned from experienced managers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to represent the pub in the Publican's absence.
• Possession of current RSA/RSG, RMLV, and Approved Manager Licences in accordance with state requirements.
