Role Summary

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment by performing daily cleaning activities. These tasks include dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, polishing, emptying waste receptacles, cleaning, replenishing supplies, and mopping in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and Life Care's standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing supplies, and mopping floors.
• Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and attractive to support quality patient care.
• Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards in all cleaning operations.

Requirements

• Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
• Prior experience in healthcare settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances require immediate action.
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude reflecting care towards patients.
