Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage

Position Overview

This role entails responsibility for overseeing designated food and beverage and culinary operations within the property. The Assistant Manager ensures that both guest and staff satisfaction are upheld at high standards, while also striving to meet or surpass financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a motivating, empowering, and team-oriented environment that supports continuous improvement and strong service passion.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all employees and promptly address their concerns with proactive measures.
• Utilize coaching methods across the property to foster staff confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Encourage and motivate employees to effectively resolve guest and staff-related issues.
• Provide exceptional guest service by understanding and embodying the brand’s service culture and setting clear service expectations.
• Own guest complaints, ensuring timely resolution or proper delegation, and follow up to confirm guest satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with guests internally and externally to build repeat business.
• Comply with corporate accounting policies and support General Manager with annual quality audits as required.

Qualifications

• Either a high school diploma or GED plus a minimum of three years’ experience in food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area; or
• A two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field coupled with at least one year of relevant experience.
