Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in managing the daily operations of a single Panda Express location. This includes recruiting, directing, and overseeing associates to meet financial targets and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will be integral in driving the store's success, supported by a leadership training program lasting three or more weeks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma is mandatory.
• Candidate must be willing to relocate to any store within a 50-mile radius of their residence.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs is essential.
• Food safety certification such as Serve Safe is required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The workplace typically involves standing for long periods in hot and noisy kitchen environments with limited space. Tasks require preparing hot and cold foods quickly and accurately, handling kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. Effective verbal communication and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage conflicts are crucial.
