Job description
Position Overview
The HR Supervisor role is tasked with aiding in monitoring and resolving employee relations issues while supporting management and leadership teams in handling various Human Resources challenges. This role ensures compliance throughout all hiring and recruitment processes according to local and federal laws and company standards. It serves as a key resource for addressing inquiries and concerns related to HR policies, programs, and employer-employee relations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Track and follow up on employee relations matters to facilitate resolution.
- Assist HR management with employee-related issues and ensure accurate maintenance of employee records including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Support compliance of recruitment activities with legal and company requirements.
- Communicate company policies, employee programs, and activities effectively to employees.
- Manage logistics and scheduling for annual employee surveys.
- Provide administrative support such as answering phone calls and maintaining communication etiquette.
- Help supervisory staff with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
- Ensure adherence to company and safety policies and report any unsafe conditions responsibly.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
- Promote positive guest interactions and professional communication standards.
- Support teamwork by fostering positive relationships and responding appropriately to employee concerns.
- Operate computer systems and point of sale systems to enter or retrieve work-related data.
- Be physically able to handle objects up to 10 pounds without assistance when necessary.
- Perform additional job-related duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in human resources or related fields.
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- No specific license or certification mandatory.

Position type: Full-time, Non-Management role located onsite.
