Role Overview

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operation of a single restaurant store. Your responsibilities include hiring, guiding, and supervising team members to meet financial objectives and ensuring guests receive remarkable service. To set you up for success, Panda provides at least a three-week paid leadership training program for store management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with running the store’s operations effectively and efficiently.
• Recruit, manage, and motivate associates to achieve the store's financial and customer service goals.
• Deliver excellent guest experiences aligning with company standards.
• Participate in store leadership and management training programs.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be flexible to relocate within a 50-mile radius of your current residence.
• Maintain availability for a flexible work schedule, including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Hold current ServSafe certification demonstrating food safety knowledge.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements (ADA Statement)

The workplace often involves hot, steamy environments with limited workspace. Employees are required to stand for extended periods (up to four hours) and handle lifting up to 50 pounds. Tasks include preparing hot and cold food, using kitchen knives and equipment, and working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting. Effective verbal communication, adaptability to changing priorities, and conflict management skills are essential.

• Hourly pay ranging from $26 to $29, determined by location and experience.
