Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in managing the daily operations of a single Panda Express restaurant. Your duties include recruiting, supervising, and guiding associates to meet financial objectives and to guarantee exceptional customer service. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving the store’s overall success. Comprehensive store leadership training lasting three or more weeks will be provided to prepare you fully for your responsibilities.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma is required
• Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of your home if needed
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including early and late shifts, weekends, holidays driven by business demands
• Valid Food Safety certification such as Serve Safe

Work Environment & Physical Requirements (ADA Statement)

The work setting often involves exposure to heat and steam from kitchen equipment and food vapors, with limited workspace requiring employees to stand for extended periods. Job duties include preparing both hot and cold foods, handling kitchen tools such as a Chinese cook knife, and working efficiently and accurately under pace pressures. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand up to four hours, and reach across counters up to 36 inches. The kitchen environment is typically hot and noisy with restricted storage space. Employees must possess strong verbal communication, adaptability to changing priorities, and conflict management skills.
