Asia Logistics Program Manager

Role Overview

Meta is looking for an Asia Logistics Program Manager to oversee materials, equipment, and product movements across the intricate Asia-based supply chains that support Meta's hardware products. This role involves managing comprehensive logistics programs covering freight forwarding, customs adherence, carrier coordination, and inbound supply chain management throughout the supply network. You will collaborate closely with planning, engineering, and operations teams to optimize logistical flows, shorten lead times, and guarantee continuous supply for Meta's expanding consumer hardware lineup.

Key Duties

• Lead full-cycle logistics programs for Asia-based manufacturing supply chains, encompassing freight, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery coordination.
• Partner with Product Operations, Technical Program Management, and Planning to design logistics networks tailored to geographic locations of contract manufacturers and suppliers across Asia.
• Evaluate freight-related data such as costs, transit times, and carrier performance to discover optimization potentials and drive continuous enhancements.
• Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics companies to ensure compliant and timely goods movement.
• Create and upkeep logistics documentation including standard operating procedures, routing guidelines, and carrier performance scorecards.
• Track supply chain KPIs and promptly escalate risks concerning capacity, port disruptions, or regulatory changes that could affect logistics operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, trade compliance, and operations to coordinate logistics program goals and trade-offs.
• Assist trade compliance efforts by ensuring that shipments meet import and export regulations across relevant regions.
• Utilize data analytics and AI-driven workflows to simulate logistics scenarios, forecast expenses, and support decision-making.
• Contribute to logistics strategy formulation and participate in setting short, medium, and long-term objectives aligned with supply chain goals.

Basic Qualifications

• Over 5 years’ experience in logistics program or freight operations management globally.
• Proven experience managing partnerships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, or logistics providers across international trade lanes.
• Skilled at analyzing logistics data—costs, transit times, and carrier results—to identify problems and recommend improvements.
• Experience coordinating with teams across sourcing, procurement, operations, and trade compliance.
• Knowledgeable in handling import and export regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise supporting logistics for consumer electronics, hardware, or infrastructure supply chains.
• Ongoing development in AI capabilities such as prompt/context engineering and AI agent orchestration, with awareness of new AI technologies.
• Experience applying responsible and ethical AI standards, including risk assessments, bias reduction, and quality assurance.
• Ability to leverage data analysis and AI tools for logistic scenario modeling and program planning.
• Skill in integrating AI solutions into workflows to improve efficiency and quality measurably.
• Familiarity with customs classification, duty minimization, and free trade agreement application across countries.
• Experience utilizing supply chain management or transportation management systems to monitor and optimize freight operations.
