Role Overview
Join our Intelligence, Safety, and Signals team as a Signals Intelligence Specialist focused on detecting, analyzing, and disrupting global criminal scam networks. Collaborate within a tech-centered, law enforcement-facing environment utilizing advanced technology to identify malicious online behavior. This position requires cross-departmental collaboration to highlight significant trends enhancing platform security.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing datasets to reveal extensive networks engaged in illicit activities.
- Deliver detailed, data-driven analyses on developing patterns to executive leaders and law enforcement agencies.
- Lead technical initiatives in designing and automating intricate analytic processes.
- Leverage current insights and pursue additional intelligence to inform law enforcement engagement and strategies mitigating real-world threats.
- Contribute to the development of data pipelines and infrastructure supporting dashboard creation.
- Develop AI-powered analytic tools to enhance team capabilities.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses from data gathering through modeling to leadership reporting on scam typologies.
- Influence multifunctional teams through presenting evidence-based suggestions.
- Create metrics to extract meaningful intelligence from structured data.
- Maintain and grow a network providing foresight into emerging threats.
Minimum Qualifications
- Over 8 years investigating, researching, and analyzing online harm trends.
- At least 2 years managing relational database systems.
- Experience with large-scale data analysis.
- Familiarity with Python and/or SQL programming relevant to AI applications.
- Background in threat intelligence either from government or tech industry settings.
- Proven communication skills tailored for diverse audiences including policymakers and senior leadership.
- Understanding of AI and machine learning fundamentals.
- Proven ability to forge partnerships across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with social network analysis techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven skill integrating AI tools to boost workflows and outcomes.
- Knowledge and practice of ethical AI, including risk, bias, and quality controls.
- Experience implementing AI for adversarial network enforcement.
- Understanding law enforcement legal frameworks.
- Experience with cross-organizational analytic knowledge sharing.
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, or equivalent experience.
- Basic cybersecurity understanding, including TCP/IP and OSI Model concepts.
- Experience tackling financial fraud and scams.
- Continuous AI skill advancement, e.g., prompt engineering and agent orchestration.
- Background in counterterrorism or dismantling organized crime networks.
