Overview

We are collaborating with a reputable multinational financial institution seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect specializing in Applications to lead and transform their modern platform ecosystem as part of a key digital modernization effort. This role focuses on guiding enterprise-wide architecture, emphasizing scalable platform designs, reusable services, and cloud-native integrations. The architect will serve as a pivotal technical leader aligning business goals with strong engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and define end-to-end target platform architectures, prioritizing reusable components, modern design paradigms, and operational excellence.
  • Create both high-level and detailed architectural designs, standardizing integration frameworks across distributed digital applications.
  • Assess compromises between existing legacy system limitations and future engineering designs to enable scalable transitions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams including digital delivery, infrastructure, and engineering to supervise implementations and enforce architectural best practices.
  • Implement governance frameworks that balance swift feature delivery with essential requirements such as resiliency, cloud security, and high availability.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years’ professional experience in technology with demonstrated leadership in architecture roles.
  • Expertise in modern architectural patterns including microservices, serverless computing, event-driven streaming platforms, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Practical experience in software engineering fundamentals, system administration, and contemporary DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methods.
  • Familiarity with recognized enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Strong skills in managing stakeholders, leading technical governance bodies, and communicating strategic directions effectively.
