Job description
Role Overview
A global insurance firm based in the London Market is seeking an experienced Capital Actuary to become part of their Risk team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Capital and gain exposure to multiple dimensions of the balance sheet, involving investment, claims, underwriting, and other risk categories.
Key Responsibilities
The role primarily involves managing daily operations of the internal model and delivering precise qualitative and quantitative analysis and reports. Familiarity and prior hands-on experience with the Igloo software platform are preferred.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should be nearly or newly qualified actuaries with strong communication abilities. The preferred candidate will have approximately five years of work experience in any General Insurance discipline, including at least three years specifically in Capital modelling.
Work Pattern and Location
This position follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring attendance at the London office three days per week.
