Overview

Deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing outstanding service. Help maintain a clean and safe environment that encourages customers to return. Collaborate with the department manager to achieve sales and profit objectives while ensuring all quality assurance standards are met. Key Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and appreciated by answering product-related inquiries within the department and across the store.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of departmental products to assist customers effectively and provide appropriate suggestions.
  • Label, stock, and take inventory of department merchandise accurately.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the department manager.
  • Stay informed about current, upcoming, seasonal, and special advertising campaigns.
  • Adhere to scheduled shift hours consistently.
  • Comply with all relevant local, state, and federal health and civil regulations.
  • Exemplify excellent customer service through friendliness and maintaining a neat and orderly department.
  • Implement creative merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation.
  • Ensure all displays are fully stocked and maintained according to departmental standards.
  • Keep informed of product arrival dates to manage inventory effectively.
  • Manage workload to consistently meet production deadlines.
  • Utilize all company communications, including bulletins, announcements, and special programs, to support sales initiatives.
  • Complete required paperwork following company policies.
  • Follow all guidelines relating to merchandising, customer service, cash and labor controls, expense management, loss prevention, maintenance, safety, and engagement rules for associates and customers.
  • Promote sales through intercom announcements to increase visibility.
  • Support safety programs by adhering to procedures, identifying hazards, and promptly notifying store management of unsafe conditions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment regularly and reporting any needed repairs to management.
  • Report any customer or employee accidents immediately to management.
  • Report safety risks, unauthorized activities, including robbery, theft, or fraud, to management without delay.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands associated with this role.
  • Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.

Preferred Qualifications
