Overview
A well-established global software systems company is urgently seeking skilled Software Engineers to join their Research and Development center in Munich. The team focuses on software and hardware co-design projects that involve developing advanced algorithms using C and C++ language, with emphasis on data and bit-level structures.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and verify a suite of arithmetic components, particularly floating-point operators utilized in chip design. Collaborate on software and hardware integration tasks to enhance performance and reliability. Participate actively in algorithmic design processes for state-of-the-art EDA tools.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will have completed a PhD or hold a Master's degree with a minimum of two years relevant industry experience. Strong expertise in mathematical algorithm development combined with proficiency in C and C++ programming is essential. Experience or familiarity with synthesis and optimization tools, such as Mockturtle, AIG optimization frameworks (e.g., ABC), is preferred. Additional knowledge of bit-level structures or floating-point operator implementation will be advantageous.
