Role Purpose

Key Qualifications and Expertise

• Thorough understanding of LLMs including transformers, attention mechanisms, and methods for optimizing training and inference.
• Proven track record in algorithm development focused on building or enhancing fundamental LLM modules.
• A strong academic research background with a minimum of MSc or PhD in AI, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or an allied discipline.
• Experience in performance modeling to assess scalability and efficiency of AI system architectures.
• Ability to bridge AI needs with hardware design through hardware-software co-design approaches.
• Familiarity with modern AI architectures such as Mamba, diffusion models, and reasoning frameworks.
• Proficiency with advanced AI development tools and frameworks including PyTorch, JAX, vLLM, llama.cpp, or similar platforms.
• A history of impactful research demonstrated through publications, patents, presentations, or open-source projects.
• Fluency in English, which is used as the working language.
