Airport Services Agent

Role Overview

We are seeking an Airport Services Agent based in Zanzibar, Tanzania, to contribute to smooth airport operations by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining safety and security standards. This role involves supporting passengers throughout their airport journey to ensure a pleasant and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with check-in counters, transfer desks, and other departments to facilitate passengers' smooth acceptance and movement.
• Guide and escort both arriving and departing passengers to areas such as hotel desks, visa counters, transfer desks, premium lounges, and boarding gates.
• Assist Duty Officers with handling company materials and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with Ground Handling Agents to expedite hotel and transfer passenger processes.
• Ensure that all passengers are effectively assisted while navigating airport facilities.
• Perform additional duties to support the efficient functioning of the operations unit.
• Supervise Ground Handling Agent staff during flight operations to uphold Qatar Airways service quality standards.
• Organize check-in counters and manage documentation matters efficiently.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completion of High School education is required.
• Minimum of two years’ professional experience, including at least one year within the airline, travel, or hospitality sectors.
• Fluent English communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated high energy and a positive attitude suitable for demanding and fast-paced environments.
• Competent in computer usage and software literacy.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
• Must legally be authorized to live and work in Tanzania.
