Job description
About BCG Platinion
BCG Platinion bridges the gap between strategy and technology by designing and implementing AI-driven technical strategies, AI-powered solutions, and advanced platform architectures that convert visionary ideas into actionable business advantages. Operating at the nexus of executive strategy and practical technology deployment, we empower leading organizations across the Middle East by delivering cutting-edge AI-enabled transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients through comprehensive enterprise transformation initiatives encompassing ERP, CRM, HCM, SCM, Planning, and Manufacturing systems — from defining business cases and roadmaps to process modeling, technical architecture design, and selection of solutions and implementation partners, including oversight on implementation quality and governance.
- Architect and execute AI-powered ERP applications ranging from AI-augmented delivery elements like test creation, data migration, and documentation to autonomous agents handling finance close, procurement, and order-to-cash processes, all operating within established governance and data controls.
- Apply best practices throughout the solution lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment—aimed at minimizing customizations and optimizing maintenance costs.
- Contribute to the growth of the Enterprise Solutions practice through knowledge sharing activities such as participation in conferences, research into the latest advancements including Generative AI and agentic AI, and authoring insightful thought leadership articles.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background with a strong academic record in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated 2 to 4 years of experience delivering enterprise transformation programs within CRM, ERP, HCM, SCM, Planning, or Manufacturing contexts; preference for candidates with SAP S/4HANA expertise.
- Robust understanding of end-to-end business processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Lead-to-Quote, Record-to-Report, and Hire-to-Retire, and their practical implementation.
- Technical familiarity with industry-specific solutions (e.g., SAP IS-OIL), add-ons like APO/IBP, Treasury/BCM, FSCM, Transportation Management, BPC/SEM; analytical tools including SAP BW/BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Digital Boardroom; and AI-infused ERP features such as SAP Joule, embedded AI in S/4HANA, agentic workflows on SAP BTP, along with clean core and extension strategies.
- Proficiency in using Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) with an ability to critically assess generated outputs, coupled with curiosity for integrating agentic AI within ERP processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills encompassing teamwork, clear communication, confident presentations, intellectual flexibility, and a client-centered, results-oriented mindset. Ability to align various stakeholders towards shared objectives combined with sharp analytical and conceptual skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites across the region.
Work Environment
At BCG Platinion, teams tackle significant IT challenges by aligning business strategy and technology. This role emphasizes ERP transformation projects, including SAP S/4HANA migration strategies. The focus is on evolving ERP from passive record-keeping systems into intelligent, proactive platforms that autonomously operate within strict governance frameworks. The opportunity uses AI not as a parallel pilot but as a core enabler to accelerate high-impact programs.
