Practice Overview

BCG’s Technology and Digital Advantage (TDA) practice helps clients gain competitive superiority and enhance business performance using data, technology, and digital solutions. As the firm’s fastest growing division, TDA offers expert consulting worldwide, specializing in Digital Transformation, Data & Digital Platforms, AI at Scale, Agile methodologies, Cybersecurity, and Tech Function digitization. Our seamless multidisciplinary approach involves both BCG and Platinion experts to deliver comprehensive client value.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of complex project components within BCG engagements related to digital & technology.
• Develop specialized knowledge to address strategic digital and technological challenges faced by clients.
• Apply consulting skills to tackle varied digital topics, collaborating closely with clients to understand business needs.
• Design strategies for organizational change and secure stakeholder buy-in for recommendations.
• Work alongside fellow consultants across practice areas to convert client opportunities into tangible performance improvements.
• Answer critical questions around AI disruption, personalized data-driven outreach, omnichannel digital experiences, and Agile delivery of digital services.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least 4 years of experience in technology or digital strategy roles within leading consulting firms, corporate strategy functions, tech startups, or consulting-like industries.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
• Excel in hypothesis-driven problem solving and strategic framing from digital/technology perspectives.
• Demonstrate strong analytical abilities, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively with clients, delivering clear narratives and engaging presentations.
• Be flexible to travel within Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region as required.
• Show passion and broad skillsets related to digital and technology; supported by extensive training programs and mentorship.
