Work Execution Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team at Kalamia Mill, located in the Burdekin Region, as a Work Execution Officer. This role requires teamwork and excellent communication skills, along with proficiency in systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.

This permanent position within our Sugar Factory offers an exciting chance to be part of the Work Execution team in the Burdekin area. The role follows a Day Work Roster starting at 6:30am and involves close collaboration with Work Coordinators, so effective communication is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage parts and materials effectively.
• Oversee information management related to work execution.
• Ensure compliance with and facilitate work management processes.
• Develop and administer work schedules.

Selection Criteria

• Dedicated to safety and safe maintenance practices.
• Able to facilitate parts and materials management using physical tasks and digital systems.
• Provide support for part ordering and collection during breakdowns within normal working hours.
• Offer administrative assistance and data entry support for daily operations and maintenance meetings.
• Collect and compile relevant information to offer feedback to the Execution team.
• Self-driven and well organized.
• Committed and proactive about meeting safety objectives.
• Willing to learn new skills or qualifications as required by the role.
• Experienced in using SAP and other computerized maintenance systems.
• Ensure correct completion of work orders and related permits.
• Collaborate within a work-based team environment and with other teams as needed.
• Strong communication, planning, and decision-making skills are highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift HRWL certification.
• Common User Competencies skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Kronos and SAP systems.
