Job description
Position Overview
Join Wilmar Sugar & Renewables as a Pan Boiler at Pioneer Mill, where your primary responsibility will be producing both high and low-grade sugar in accordance with strict quality standards.
Work Schedule
During the crushing season, you will work a rotating shift schedule continuously, which includes weekends and the potential for occasional overtime. When the crushing ends and the mill transitions to maintenance mode, the position reverts to standard daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the production process by controlling syrup, magma, and massecuite quantities to produce sugar as per schedule and quality requirements.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and orderliness in your work area and control zone, ensuring no materials or waste contaminate storm drains.
- Adhere rigorously to all safety protocols and demonstrate a committed approach to workplace safety.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will be an effective communicator possessing basic skills in maintenance work. Although holding High-Risk Work Licences such as Working Safely at Heights and Confined Spaces is advantageous, training will be provided for motivated candidates demonstrating the right aptitude and cultural fit.
