Role Overview

The company is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all daily warehouse activities at its Patna location. This position demands proficient leadership of personnel, operational discipline, thorough knowledge of inventory management, and strict adherence to pharmaceutical warehouse regulations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and organize daily tasks of warehouse executives to guarantee effective and seamless warehouse functions.
• Assign duties, oversee attendance, and plan manpower across shifts.
• Induct new employees with training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and pharmaceutical handling standards while mentoring existing staff continuously.
• Track team and individual performance, conducting regular reviews.
• Maintain high compliance with safety, cleanliness, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
• Manage inventory control via cycle counting, stock verifications, and resolving discrepancies.
• Supervise incoming and outgoing goods, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and dispatch accuracy.
• Ensure appropriate warehousing practices like correct racking, storing, and segregation aligned to batch, expiration dates, and product classifications.
• Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and central departments to guarantee punctual dispatches and address operational challenges.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements to boost productivity, precision, and cost-effectiveness.
• Address operational issues, employee grievances, and any conflicts within the team professionally.
• Compile and distribute daily and weekly reports covering manpower, inventory status, dispatch turnaround times, and essential warehouse performance metrics.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience handling warehouse operations, including 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse workflows, inventory control, and compliance-centric environments.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer skills, especially MS Office.
• Capability to oversee large teams working in rotational shifts.
• Strong analytical and problem-resolution abilities, with careful attention to detail and a focus on execution.
• Prior exposure to pharmaceutical or e-commerce warehouse operations is advantageous.
