Primary Duties

• Carry out all duties related to food and beverage service as outlined in the hotel's performance standards.
• Welcome and seat guests while providing professional, discreet, and personalized service.
• Develop thorough knowledge of the assigned outlet's menu to offer informed assistance and recommendations to patrons.
• Continuously oversee the quality of food and drinks served.
• Foster positive customer relations and address any complaints or inquiries effectively.
• Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards within the outlet and maintain all service equipment.
• Prepare for service by managing mise-en-place and mise-en-scène before, during, and after dining periods.
• Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage of items.
• Use upselling techniques actively to surpass guest expectations and enhance revenue.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma, degree in hospitality, or vocational training in food & beverage preferred.
• Prior experience as a waiter or waitress in a high-volume restaurant setting is required.
• Proficiency in English is essential, along with strong interpersonal and guest service skills.

Additional Information

The position is full-time and requires working onsite at the Mecca, Makkah location in Saudi Arabia.
