Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Offer a warm welcome to guests, share menus, and suggest dishes or drinks.
- Accurately record customers' food and drink orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Prepare tables with clean linens, utensils, and glassware, and promptly clear plates during service.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene practices, ensure side stations remain replenished, and keep the dining area tidy.
- Manage billing processes by accurately handling customer payments and invoices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, being courteous and clear while interacting with guests.
- Capability to multitask effectively, especially during peak periods.
- Basic knowledge of menu offerings and understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Physical endurance to stand and move around for extended work periods.
