Job description
Position Overview
As a Visual Merchandiser at our Kiel location, you will craft an appealing and inspirational store environment that captivates and motivates customers to shop with us. Your creative window displays will draw attention, and you will mentor the sales team to help implement our Visual Merchandising (VM) standards effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Create attractive, sales-enhancing product presentations that adhere to VM guidelines while integrating your own creative ideas.
- Design and execute inspiring window mannequin displays to entice customers.
- Analyze sales figures and key performance indicators (KPIs) using the Merchandise Management System to enhance product arrangement and collection alignment.
- Implement centrally developed sales strategies and concepts within your store presentations.
- Boost sales outcomes by presenting merchandise in a captivating and innovative manner.
- Train colleagues on properly applying VM standards to maintain consistency.
- Take proactive, profitable actions whenever opportunities arise.
- Offer support and styling advice to customers who seek assistance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed commercial retail education with solid professional experience in Visual Merchandising or a related field.
- Alternatively, training as a visual marketing designer or a comparable creative profession.
- Strong analytical skills to translate sales data into actionable merchandising solutions.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities; collaboration with store management to prioritize and schedule weekly tasks.
- Good understanding of business operations with proficiency in using floor area metrics and merchandise management systems.
- Ability to intuitively understand customer needs and translate them into wearable visual merchandising concepts.
