Job description
Role Overview
In this position, you will create an engaging and inspirational store environment that captivates customers. Your window displays will encourage shopping enthusiasm, and you will mentor sales staff to support the execution of our Visual Merchandising (VM) standards effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure an attractive, sales-enhancing presentation of merchandise while adhering to VM guidelines and contributing your creative ideas.
- Arrange mannequin displays in windows in a way that inspires customers.
- Analyze sales data and key performance indicators through the Merchandise Management System to refine presentation and align collections optimally.
- Implement centrally developed sales strategies and concepts in in-store presentations.
- Drive sales performance upward by creatively showcasing products.
- Coach colleagues on properly implementing VM standards.
- Take proactive, profitable actions whenever opportunities arise.
- Offer assistance to customers needing product advice or styling tips.
Qualifications and Skills
You possess a keen sense of style, an affinity for appealing designs, vibrant colors, and forms, along with a passion for fashion and trends.
- Completed commercial retail apprenticeship with solid professional experience in visual merchandising, or
- Training as a visual marketing designer or in a related creative profession.
- Analytical skills enabling translation of sales figures into actionable solutions.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities; collaborate closely with the Store Manager to prioritize and schedule weekly plans.
- Affinity for business processes and proficient handling of space-related metrics and inventory management systems.
- Understanding customer needs and the ability to transform them into wearable visual merchandising concepts with ease.
