About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership located in St Albans. This position offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art manufacturer-approved workshop that emphasizes high standards, systematic processes, and ongoing training and development. The role provides job security, a varied daily workload, and opportunities for career growth within a well-established dealership group.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle servicing and general maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out fault-finding procedures.
- Repair or replace components including brakes, suspension systems, and clutches.
- Conduct cambelt replacements as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of one year’s experience working in a vehicle workshop setting.
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent credential.
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude.
- Consistent and reliable attendance with a stable work history.
- Possession of a well-equipped personal toolbox suitable for workshop duties.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual basic salary up to £42,000, with potential bonuses and overtime earnings increasing total remuneration to over £50,000.
- Working hours from Monday through Friday with no weekend shifts.
