Vehicle Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and certified Vehicle Technician to join our team at Pentagon Mazda, Sheffield. This is a full-time, permanent position with a focus on servicing, maintenance, and basic diagnostics primarily for Vauxhall and Kia vehicles. The role offers on-target earnings up to £42,570, based on experience, within a supportive and growing aftersales department.

Key Duties

• Perform routine servicing, repairs, and fault diagnosis in line with manufacturer standards efficiently.
• Conduct thorough visual vehicle health inspections.
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, safe, and meet customer expectations, upholding the strong reputation of the Pentagon Group.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds a Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification.
• MOT Licence preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of three years' hands-on experience in a workshop setting.
• Possesses a full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Demonstrates pride in workmanship and thrives in a busy team environment.

Working Conditions

Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, totaling 42.5 hours per week.
