Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable VCF / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer responsible for overseeing and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation, virtualization platforms, and private cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and sustain VMware Cloud Foundation and vSphere environments.
- Continuously track performance, capacity, and uptime of infrastructure components.
- Diagnose and resolve level 2 and 3 infrastructure-related issues.
- Manage virtual machines, clusters, and computing assets effectively.
- Conduct system upgrades, apply patches, and manage lifecycle tasks.
- Assist in capacity planning and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with network, storage, backup, and security teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Keep infrastructure documentation and operational workflows up to date.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent disciplines.
- At least five years of experience working with VMware, virtualization technologies, or cloud infrastructure management.
- Practical expertise with VMware VCF, vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities related to infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Possession of VCP-DCV certification or VMware VCF certification is highly preferred.
- Having certifications in Azure or AWS cloud services is a beneficial addition.
