We are inviting an energetic and motivated individual to join our OMODA/JAECOO/Geely branch in Huddersfield as a Valeter. This role involves ensuring all vehicles are maintained in pristine condition for presentation.

Work Schedule

Full-time hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, plus alternate Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Role Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of both sold and stock vehicles
• External cleaning using a high-pressure washer
• Interior cleaning including vacuuming and shampooing
• Polishing and buffing vehicle bodywork
• Adhering to safety protocols when handling chemicals
• Maintaining and securing equipment and machinery, reporting any defects, and following manufacturers' guidelines and personal protective equipment requirements
• Meeting established timeframes and performance targets
• Managing vehicle schedules using an online diary system
• Recording daily completed tasks
• Performing additional branch support duties as necessary

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Valid full UK driving license
• Basic proficiency with computers
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-driven and capable of collaborative teamwork
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Openness to engaging in training programs

Previous valet experience is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training is provided to candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and meet essential criteria. New valet employees are also enrolled in the Arnold Clark Valet Academy.
