About the Role

In this role, you will be tasked with managing vehicle arrivals and departures across multiple valet points including Hotel Valet, Casino Valet, Carpark Valet, MICE, and Hall Parking areas. Duties extend to static assignments such as directing traffic, assisting guests with door operations, and providing luggage support at the hotel driveway. A commitment to delivering consistent service quality aligning with Forbes standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage valet vehicles within the Marina Bay Sands premises adhering strictly to department standards.
• Use the Valet Management System correctly as per departmental protocols.
• Assist in regulating traffic flow around the property while ensuring guest and vehicle safety.
• Deliver service experiences that meet departmental audit criteria and collaborate to achieve key performance indicators.
• Guide incoming vehicles to designated areas including self-parking lanes when necessary.
• Control vehicle access and oversee taxi queues to minimize congestion on-site.
• Operate Hall Parking during peak self-park overflow situations.
• Respond knowledgeably to guest inquiries related to valet and parking services.
• Execute departmental operational strategies and maintain all equipment and supplies required for duties.
• Identify and promptly report any irregularities to Valet Captains.
• Provide operational support and complete additional assignments as delegated by supervisors.
• Rotate through cashiering duties, managing hotel and casino valet cashier counters.
• Handle financial transactions accurately using POS systems, and prepare related documentation for audits.

Requirements

• No formal educational background is required for this position.
• Hold a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License with at least two years driving experience.
• Previous experience in a similar valet or driving role is considered an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and English communication skills to engage effectively with guests.
• Capacity to work harmoniously within a culturally diverse team.
• Physical ability to perform job functions including manual handling of luggage.
• Willingness and ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Capability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-moving work environment.
• Comfortable operating outdoors and standing for long durations as per job demands.
• Competence in safely driving vehicles and interpreting required traffic signs and parking indicators.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore’s attractions and points of interest.
