Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge of utility locating methods, safety guidelines, and equipment use.
- Gain insight into local utility systems and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with veteran locators to mark underground utilities.
- Record data through digital mapping technologies.
- Perform outdoor work regardless of weather conditions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be authorized to work in the United States for this employer.
- Hold a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience.
- Possess a valid non-provisional state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Demands
- Frequently work independently in isolated areas and perform tasks requiring arm elevation above shoulder height, vehicle operation, fine motor skills, bending, standing, walking, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
- Occasionally use ladders, operate in confined spaces, and climb stairs.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
