These essential workers help maintain safe and reliable gas, electric, and communication infrastructure by performing accurate utility marking to prevent damage during excavations. The role uses the advanced LaunchPoint software, employing cutting-edge technologies to streamline operations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting hourly wage ranges between $23.00 and $35.00 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operate independently outdoors performing a daily schedule of locate requests using a company-provided vehicle serving as a mobile office
• Locate and mark underground utilities precisely and safely using paint, flags, and whiskers as markers
• Use mobile technology systems to receive and manage daily job assignments
• Participate in on-call rotations and work overtime when necessary, including nights and weekends

Requirements and Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment screenings including drug testing, Motor Vehicle Record verification, and background checks
• Comply with Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations applicable to this sensitive role; marijuana use, both medical and recreational, is prohibited
• Possess a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old
• Hold a valid driver's license
