Position Overview

Join UtiliQuest, LLC as a Utility Line Locator trainee and embark on a career focused on safely identifying underground utility lines. Key Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge of utility locating methods, safety procedures, and equipment operation
• Gain comprehension of local utility systems and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with experienced Locators to mark utility lines beneath the surface
• Operate utility locating machinery proficiently
• Record findings accurately using digital mapping technologies
• Perform fieldwork in different weather conditions and environments

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Legal authorization to work in the United States for this employer
• Completion of High School Diploma, GED equivalency, or equivalent relevant experience
• Possession of a valid state driver's license (excluding provisional licenses) with a satisfactory motor vehicle record

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently work independently in remote settings requiring arm movement above shoulder height, driving, fine motor skills, bending, stooping, standing, walking, and lifting up to 55 pounds, along with computer usage
• Occasionally use portable ladders, navigate confined spaces, and climb stairs

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $22.00
