About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Medium Rigid (MR) truck driver holding a valid MR licence to join our team based in Launceston, Tasmania. The role involves safely operating heavy rigid trucks to collect waste and recyclables from our clients using Rearlift trucks, participating in medical runs, and delivering bins. This is a permanent, full-time position offering secure employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing waste and recyclable collections under secure long-term contracts.
• Transporting various waste streams to designated disposal sites.
• Delivering excellent customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
• Learning to operate a diverse range of fleet equipment.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Possession of a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence is mandatory.
• Experience driving Medium Rigid (MR) vehicles is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of the geography of Launceston and nearby suburbs.
• A commitment to workplace safety and a safety-conscious approach.
