Job Summary
The company is looking for a well-organized and customer-centric Travel Operations Executive who will be responsible for supporting and managing daily travel-related activities in Dubai. This role demands attention to detail and coordination of travel arrangements, including bookings, itineraries, accommodations, transportation, supplier liaison, and addressing customer needs to ensure seamless travel experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily travel and tourism operations from the point of booking through to the completion of a client's trip.
- Handle reservations encompassing flights, hotels, transfers, tours, excursions, and varied travel services.
- Develop, review, and coordinate detailed travel itineraries tailored to client specifications.
- Accurately manage travel bookings including new orders, amendments, cancellations, confirmations, and rescheduling requests.
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, tour operators, destination management companies (DMCs), and other suppliers.
- Monitor operational expenses, supplier fees, refunds, cancellations, and financial aspects related to bookings.
- Assist with ensuring accuracy in travel bookings reconciliation, supplier billing, and client payments where necessary.
- Maintain and nurture strong partnerships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, tour operators, and transportation firms.
- Guarantee that all travel services conform to agreed timelines, customer needs, and company guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field is preferable.
- Prior experience in roles such as Travel Operations Executive, Coordinator, Consultant, or Specialist within travel agencies, tour operators, destination management companies, airlines, hotels, or other tourism organizations.
- A sound understanding of travel operations, tourism services, reservation processes, and tour handling.
- Competency in managing diverse bookings including flights, hotels, transportation, tours, excursions, and packaged travel services.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, managing urgent or last-minute travel requirements.
- Professional communication skills required for interacting with clients, suppliers, hotels, airlines, and tourism partners.
- Flexibility to work unconventional hours, including weekends and public holidays, to meet operational demands.
