Transformation Manager

Role Overview

This role is pivotal in enhancing operational excellence, boosting PMO effectiveness, fostering continuous improvements, and building organizational capabilities within a large-scale project context.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives aimed at transformation and continuous improvement within the PMO.
• Assist in developing, deploying, and refining project management processes, governance, and procedures.
• Drive enhancements spanning engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and project initiation activities.
• Evaluate current processes to identify and implement improvements that increase efficiency, performance, and delivery outcomes.
• Support the establishment, growth, and sustained operational performance of the PMO.
• Lead efforts to build capacity and nurture talent to enhance organizational capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-disciplinary teams to execute transformation projects.
• Offer management and supervisory support as well as personnel administration within the transformation division.
• Advocate best practices and ensure integration of transformation efforts across all organizational levels.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering obtained from a recognized university.
• Brings at least 20 years of experience in project management roles on large-scale projects.
• Has proven expertise in establishing, managing, or leading PMOs.
• Possesses deep practical knowledge of standardized project management methodologies and procedures.
• Experienced in the domains of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up/set-up processes related to projects.
• Has a demonstrated track record in continuous improvement, capacity building, and talent development.
• Exhibits strong managerial, supervisory, and personnel administration skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in major infrastructure, utilities, engineering, or complex PMO programs is considered a strong advantage.
