About the Role
The Training Specialist will collaborate closely with the Talent Development team to identify and address training needs. Responsibilities include designing, facilitating, and assessing training programs, developing engaging learning content, and supporting onboarding and product-related training. This role requires adapting training delivery to various formats and audiences, tracking participation, and leveraging insights to enhance learning effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to pinpoint training requirements and develop learning plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Create engaging training materials and digital content tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Facilitate interactive workshops, short learning sessions, showroom activities, and onboarding both on-site and virtually.
- Assist with delivering accurate product, brand, and supplier training to boost employee expertise and customer engagement.
- Coordinate onboarding programs to orient new employees about company standards, systems, tools, and customer service expectations, monitoring their progress.
- Manage learning management system (LMS) data to track training participation, assess learning application, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, sharing best practices and identifying opportunities to enhance employee skills and customer experience.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has approximately five years of experience in training or learning and development, preferably within retail, luxury, interior design, or other customer-centric sectors. Strong skills in communication, facilitation, coaching, stakeholder engagement, and organization are essential. The candidate should be capable of independent work while effectively collaborating across teams.
