Position Overview

Plumbing World, a well-established Kiwi-owned company with over 60 years of industry experience, is seeking a dependable Trade Sales / Driver to join their Rotorua branch team in the Bay of Plenty region. This permanent full-time position involves active daily work, combining delivery duties with customer service at the trade counter.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing products to various sites while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Provide excellent service to customers at the trade counter, ensuring they have the necessary supplies to start their day.
• Assist with other branch-related functions as required to support operations.

• Physical ability to handle moderate lifting up to 20 kilograms.
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute wherever needed.
• Dependability and flexibility to meet varying job demands.
• A collaborative teamwork approach ready to assist with loading and interacting with customers on-site.
• A trade background is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Adaptability and good judgement to efficiently address unforeseen challenges.
• Strong retail sales capability and outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to perform calmly under pressure.
• Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence mandatory.
• Forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
• Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
