Job description
Position Overview
Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled Tool Store Administrator to join the UH-60M Black Hawk team located in Oakey, Queensland. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Tool Store, overseeing Support and Test Equipment (S&TE) and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to ensure they are properly controlled, maintained, calibrated, and serviced to meet operational demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the UH-60M tool store efficiently.
- Coordinate the calibration, maintenance, and servicing schedules for S&TE and GSE.
- Maintain and update inventory and asset control databases accurately.
- Oversee ordering of consumables, manage supply support, and perform regular stocktakes.
- Support asset and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) audits to ensure compliance.
- Handle issuing, receiving, and accountability of tools and equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and address quality findings.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders providing regular updates on operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Mandatory Australian citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain an active Australian Government Defence security clearance at the required level.
- Experience in Defence or an equivalent logistics environment.
- Proven abilities in inventory management, asset tracking, and stock control.
- Demonstrated capability in owning tasks and managing them independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in warehousing operations.
- Current forklift license with practical forklift operation experience.
- Background in defence, aviation, or other regulated logistics sectors.
- Familiarity with tool control processes, S&TE, or GSE.
