Store Executive

About the Role

We seek a dedicated and customer-oriented Studio Executive to manage daily activities at our creative tufting studio. This role involves overseeing studio operations, delivering outstanding customer service, leading the team, hitting sales objectives, and ensuring smooth workshop management while maintaining Go Rug Yourself's brand excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily studio functioning, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times.
• Keep track of inventory, materials, tools, and supplies, coordinating updates with management.
• Adhere strictly to company SOPs and operational procedures.
• Provide a memorable customer experience; guide visitors through workshops and the tufting process professionally.
• Manage customer queries, bookings, complaints, and feedback with efficiency and courtesy.
• Maintain high hospitality standards and engage customers effectively.
• Drive studio sales to meet monthly revenue and booking goals through promotion of workshops and products.
• Follow up with potential clients to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Generate daily sales and performance reports for managerial review.
• Lead and inspire studio staff including executives, artists, and support personnel.
• Prepare staff schedules and allocate daily tasks.
• Train new hires in customer service, operational procedures, and brand standards.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and overall staff performance.
• Ensure workshops run as per schedule and quality standards are maintained in rug production.
• Manage labeling, storage, and customer handover of completed rugs.
• Coordinate with customers on rug collection and delivery where applicable.
• Accurately maintain records related to bookings, sales, expenses, inventory, and studio operations.
• Update company systems within set deadlines.
• Report operational challenges, customer issues, and maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist in audits, stock checks, and operational performance evaluations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline preferred.
• 0 to 5 years’ experience in retail, hospitality, boutique, studio, or customer experience roles.
• Prior roles such as Store Manager, Studio Manager, Retail Manager, or related positions advantageous.
• Candidates with backgrounds in creative fields including art, fashion, interior design, or similar are preferred.
