Technician - Painter

Job Overview

Perform painting tasks including applying paint, stain, and finishes on walls, ceilings, and furniture using varied tools like brushes, rollers, and spray guns. Prepare surfaces for painting with primers or sealers, and remove old finishes through methods such as stripping, sanding, brushing, burning, or abrasive blasting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply protective coverings on surfaces prior to painting and display appropriate safety signage.
• Manage cleanup and proper storage of painting materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors to adjust paint, stain, or varnish colors as needed.
• Adhere strictly to company safety and security policies, report hazards and incidents, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and ensure confidentiality of company information.
• Greet and assist guests according to company standards, including helping individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common objectives.
• Follow quality standards and expectations in all tasks.
• Perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, climbing ladders, handling objects up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for long periods.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Completion of technical, trade, or vocational school education.
• A minimum of one year of experience performing related painting tasks.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications are mandatory.

Position is full-time, non-management, and based in the Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
