Technical Project Manager

Overview

We are collaborating with a prominent tech-driven company to recruit a Technical Project Manager. This role suits a technically adept individual who transitioned from software or infrastructure engineering into project management and thrives in delivering intricate technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee technology project deliveries spanning software development, infrastructure, cloud solutions, and platform engineering teams.
• Manage project parameters including scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and communications with stakeholders.
• Coordinate efforts across diverse teams to guarantee successful execution and completion of projects.
• Lead project governance, generate progress reports, and spearhead continuous improvement programs.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, operations personnel, and business units to align project results with corporate goals.
• Detect and mitigate project risks while upholding quality of delivery and operational stability.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience, including several years specifically in Technical Project Management or an equivalent project delivery capacity.
• Prior hands-on background in software development, infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE), platform engineering, or similar technical fields.
• Deep understanding of software development life cycles, infrastructure setups, cloud platforms, and contemporary engineering methodologies.
• Demonstrated success handling end-to-end technology projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• A Bachelor’s degree focused on Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related engineering domain.
• Preferred experience within Financial Services, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, FinTech, or top-tier Big Tech firms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge about infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise application ecosystems.
• Ability to perform efficiently in dynamic, highly technical work settings.
