A prominent global investment bank seeks a senior C++ engineer to lead development on next-generation electronic trading platforms in Singapore. Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, and performance tuning of high-speed, low-latency trading systems employing advanced C++ standards.
• Enhance and maintain connectivity with leading Asia-Pacific exchanges using FIX and native exchange protocols.
• Steer technical architecture and make strategic decisions for critical trading infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and international engineering teams to deliver innovative technologies.
• Mentor and develop a talented group of software engineers in Singapore.
• Promote engineering excellence, modern coding practices, and design systems with scalability in mind.
• Work in partnership with colleagues from London, New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore on global technology initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, notably within electronic trading environments.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ (versions 14, 17, and 20).
• Demonstrable expertise in designing ultra-low-latency, high-capacity distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of performance optimization techniques, concurrent programming, networking, and overall system architecture.
• Experience with exchange connectivity including FIX protocols, market data streams, and TCP/UDP network communications.
• Proven leadership in managing projects, shaping technical decisions, and mentoring engineering staff.
• Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration across global teams.
