Data Science/AI Engineer

About the Role

We are collaborating with a prestigious luxury brand that holds a significant regional footprint across Southeast Asia to expand its data science and AI functions. This opportunity is to join the regional team responsible for designing and implementing machine learning, Generative AI, and other AI-driven solutions targeting customer engagement, retail, marketing, merchandising, and operational challenges.

Job Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, you will partner closely with stakeholders across business, data analytics, and technology units to transform actual business challenges into scalable and effective AI-powered products.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least 7 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering.
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in Python programming combined with machine learning techniques.
• Proven track record deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Experience working with Generative AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), retrieval augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, or agentic AI systems.
• Familiarity with experimental design methods including A/B testing and capability to measure business impact of implemented solutions.
• Experience using cloud machine learning platforms such as Databricks, AWS SageMaker, or Azure ML.
• Knowledge or exposure to containerization tools like Docker, orchestration via Kubernetes, and MLOps practices.
• Strong capabilities in business collaboration and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
• An inquisitive mindset and active engagement with the latest AI tools and emerging technologies.
