Role Overview

We seek a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect to spearhead the creation, governance, and advancement of robust, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions organization-wide. This senior position involves architectural ownership, establishing technical strategies, and ensuring platform alignment with long-term objectives, release schedules, and exceptional user experiences. The role bridges business needs with technology by transforming complex requirements into streamlined, maintainable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive solution architecture across Salesforce Industry Clouds and integrated applications.
• Establish and uphold architectural principles, design standards, and governance protocols throughout the Salesforce environment.
• Develop scalable data and security models, incorporating sharing rules, field-level security, and Shield encryption, alongside integration strategies.
• Provide expert recommendations for build, buy, or configuration decisions based on platform best practices and business needs.
• Design event-driven and API-centric integration solutions including REST, SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and MuleSoft.
• Offer authoritative technical oversight during solution design, proposal crafting, and implementation phases.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, technical diagrams (such as C4 and UML), decision logs, and standards references.
• Conduct architecture reviews to identify and address technical debt.
• Support leadership in technical planning, effort estimation, and risk evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure delivery of robust, well-managed solutions.
• Mentor developers and technical leads on architecture concepts, design patterns, and Salesforce best practices.
• Ensure compliance with internal engineering standards, relevant government regulations, and industry norms.
• Drive advancement in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, source control (Salesforce DX, Git), automated testing, and release procedures.
• Monitor and improve organizational health, technical hygiene, platform performance with techniques addressing governor limits, large data volume handling, and asynchronous processing.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years in software development or engineering, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to Salesforce architecture and solution design.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing complex integrations using REST, SOAP, middleware/iPaaS, and Platform Events.
• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security frameworks, and multi-cloud or multi-organization configurations.
• Experience using Salesforce DX and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
• Proven capability to produce and communicate architectural documentation and diagrams effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional analytical skills, troubleshooting aptitude, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to simplify technical complexity.
• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or active pursuit thereof, Application Architect or System Architect credentials, and Platform Developer II certification.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft, Data Cloud, Einstein AI/GPT technologies, OmniStudio, and Industry Clouds is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of large data volume strategies, Shield Platform Encryption, and Event Monitoring.
• Experience with government, enterprise, or regulated sectors.
• Exposure to broader cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is beneficial.
