Job description
Role Overview
As an integral member of the store management team, the Team Leader plays a key role by assisting both the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in managing day-to-day retail activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing leadership and supervision to store associates, offering ongoing guidance and support.
- Handling store merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves and managing incoming shipments (boxing and unboxing).
- Ensuring that customer service quality meets company standards at all times.
- Carrying out manager-on-duty functions such as monitoring breaks, timekeeping, and attendance management.
- Enforcing and upholding visual merchandising guidelines throughout the store.
- Responding promptly to customer complaints and resolving any issues effectively.
- Maintaining standards of store safety and cleanliness consistently.
- Executing cash management responsibilities, including store opening and closing when needed.
- Supporting inventory control processes and facilitating employee training initiatives.
- Following up on delegated duties and actively participating in recruitment and performance evaluations.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- At least one year of experience in retail.
- Between one and two years of supervisory experience.
- A strong drive to grow and advance within the company.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Exemplary leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
