Job Overview
The Store Manager role involves complete responsibility for daily retail management, including visual merchandising, staff recruitment and training, scheduling, and inventory oversight. The manager ensures all store operations adhere strictly to corporate standards and policies.
Key Duties
- Directing and overseeing all aspects of store operations to maintain compliance with corporate guidelines.
- Inspiring, leading, and developing store employees to meet organizational goals.
- Supporting merchandising efforts, including stocking shelves and unpacking shipments daily.
- Providing exceptional customer service and managing complex customer issues effectively.
- Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Ensuring the store environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.
- Managing cash operations as well as store opening and closing procedures.
- Offering feedback on staff performance and delegating responsibilities accordingly.
- Overseeing recruitment and employee performance management processes.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in retail operations with demonstrated leadership in team management.
- Availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills accompanied by sound decision-making abilities.
- Proven leadership qualities and effective problem-solving skills.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a fast-moving retail environment.
